The tallest falls in Wales at over 90 feet. This lovely spot can be found at the southern boundary of the Brecon Beacons National Park in South Wales (the older one not the New one).

This cascade lies in Tourmakeady a small village that traverses the southern shores of stunning Lough Mask in County Mayo in the west of Ireland. A short walk through Tourmakeady woods and you will find these serene falls. Despite the marauding summer midges which conduct sortie after sortie on your scalp, there’s a fair chance you will have these falls all to yourself.

The Canadian Rockies never cease to amaze. This is the route to the upper falls of Johnston Canyon, just off the Bow Valley Parkway between Banff and Lake Louise. The turquoise colour of the canyon rapids is never tiring to watch.
