A beautiful summer's evening in London. This vantage point of this London icon is from Southwark St, round the corner from Borough Market. I had intended on doing a long exposure and this was my warm up frame. I couldn't better the light trails from other London buses that passed in other photos. Hat tip to the bus driver for the serendipitous timing.

St Paul’s Cathedral is the centre piece over looking a beautifully lit Southwark Bridge and the Thames. Been meaning to get this shot for a few weeks after having walked by here before Christmas. Brought a long lens this time to grab this tight frame.

The lights of a cruise ship seemingly hover over the water, as the magnificent colours of a Santorini twilight descends on the iconic Oia. Stunning place!

The main town on Thira and capital of Santorini lines the steep volcanic slopes of the caldera. It looks a treat at twilight as the lights come on, and the sunset finishes with a band of orange and red across the Mediterranean horizon. Skaros is the stark peak in centre. Note also the winding steps down to the wharf. It is serviced by a cable car and teams of mules.

Loved these iridescent reflections on the Thames on a still winters night. Taken from the shore of the river underneath the Millennium Bridge. Yes it was low tide! St Paul's to the left, then on the right the skyline of the Heron Tower, Leadenhall Building and then the Walkie Talkie. (20 Fenchurch St)

This was the sea of red, 888,246 ceramic poppies surrounding the Tower of London in 2014. An incredible centennial tribute to the British fallen of WWI, and one I feel privileged to have seen.
